I think the former is (a) an insult to people who actually can't do things they want to do because the genuinely can't afford it, and (b) ever bought anyone a drink with your last five dollars because they said they were 'poor', only to realise that their definition of 'poor' is that their savings account has fallen under $10,000 in the black?
